About + Mission Statement

Our mission at the SoSo Design District is to promote and grow the vibrant design, arts, lifestyle, and entertainment businesses in West Palm Beach’s South End community.

The SoSo Design District in West Palm Beach starts south of Southern Boulevard spanning the South Dixie Corridor and Georgia Avenue. In the past five years, the area has seen an influx of design-based businesses, restaurants, galleries, wellness groups, and other entertainment and shopping attractions.

The SoSo Design District has quickly grown into a world class shopping and entertainment hub for design and art lovers.

Collective Vision


By joining forces to market our businesses collectively as West Palm Beach’s prominent “Design District,” we will draw exponentially more residents and visitors looking for design, dining, arts, and lifestyle and entertainment attractions in the area.

Established by the owners of Chelsea Lane and Palm Beach Regency, the SoSo Design District is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.

Join Us

If you’re a business operating in the South End of West Palm Beach, join us! We’re welcoming design-based businesses, as well as, restaurants, galleries, wellness groups and other entertainment and shopping attractions in the area.

As a Founding Member, you will receive:

• Placement on our website, including photo and business description

• Listing on our printed map

• Promotion on the SoSo Design District’s social media page

• Access to events and marketing of members’ events and promotions

• Inclusion in broader marketing such as advertising campaigns

What is SoSo? That's the local term for "South of Southern Boulevard." The District starts south of Southern Boulevard spanning the South Dixie Corridor and Georgia Avenue. From one end to the other, the area covers six miles.

While some areas are walkable, particularly along Georgia Avenue, it's easiest to navigate the area by car. Free parking is available along streets and in designated business parking lots.
